Plant information

The first edition of the Living Light lamp comes with a Spathiphyllum plant. It is a very strong plant which loves the wet soil of the Living Light and is known for its good air purifying capabilities.

Don’t be surprised when the tip or the leafs starts becoming brown. This is difficult to prevent. When the leaves are starting to have a yellow flare, this is the result of too much sunlight. Green flowers are the result of too little sunlight. For repositioning your Living Light lamp, see positioning. For more information about pruning and maintaining the plant, see plant care. If you want to replace the plant, see replacing the plant.

The technology integrated in the Living Light does not negatively affect the plant or its (natural) surrounding. So, you do not need to worry that the ecosystem is being harmed by the technology.

Warning: do not give the plant nutrition, because this can affect the technology negatively.
